TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF WEB SITE AND PARTICIPATION IN VENTURA FASDATING EVENTS

RESTRICTIONS AND TERMS OF USE AND PARTICIPATION

In order to use the Ventura County FastDating web site and participate in a Ventura County FastDating event, you must register and agree to be bound by these Terms of Conditions of Use. As part of your registration, you must confirm that you have read these Terms and Conditions of Use and follow the instructions for Registration. This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms for your use of the web site and participation in all Ventura County FastDating events.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old to register for Ventura County FastDating event. Participation in a Ventura County FastDating event and use of this web site is void where prohibited. By using this web site and participating in Ventura County FastDating event, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

TERM

This Agreement will remain in full force and effect while you use this web site and/or participate in any Ventura County FastDating event.

PARTICIPATION IN VENTURA COUNTY FastDating EVENTS

In order to participate in a Ventura County FastDating event you must have access to the Internet or call to register by phone, as all evaluation sheets must be turned in at the end of the event. Additionally, management of all personal profiles and “matches” are conducted by e-mail or by phone.

SPECIAL LIABILITY DISCLAIMERS AND RELEASE

You hereby understand and acknowledge that by using this web site and participating in Ventura County FastDating events that your email address, first name and certain other profiling information that you provide will be provided to other participants. Neither Ventura County FastDating nor any of its business partners have conducted any research on the backgrounds of any of the participants in Ventura County FastDating events or visitors to this web site, and you agree to release Ventura County FastDating and its business partners from any liability and assume the full responsibility and risk with respect to any person you meet at a Ventura County FastDating event. We strongly encourage you to take the same precautions you would take in meeting any new person in order to assure your safety.

You also understand and acknowledge that Ventura County FastDating events are held at venues of which neither Ventura County FastDating have any control. Therefore, in the event that you are injured or suffer damages in any regard at a Ventura County FastDating, you agree to release Ventura County FastDating and its business partners from any liability.

All participants in Ventura County FastDating events understand and acknowledge that Ventura County FastDating provides a different, fun, and exciting method of meeting new people. Ventura County FastDating does not guarantee that any participant will successfully match with any other participant. Additionally, Ventura County FastDating does not guarantee that any match between participants will be successful.

MEDIA AUTHORIZATION AND RELEASE

Ventura County FastDating, along with certain permitted third parties including, without limitation, representatives of the television, radio, print and online media, may photograph and/or make audio/video recordings of any of the Ventura County FastDating events. By attending and participating in any Ventura County FastDating event, each participant agrees to permit the taking of any such photographs and to be recorded in both audio and video media.

Each participant at a Ventura County FastDating event also irrevocably authorizes Ventura County FastDating, to use in perpetuity, throughout the world, in any manner whatsoever, all or any portion of photographs and audio/video recordings in which such participant appears, and any comments, statements or testimonials made by such participant, while attending a Ventura County FastDating event.

No person shall be entitled to any compensation in connection with the use and exploitation of any photographs or audio/video recordings.

Each participant at a Ventura County FastDating event irrevocably releases Ventura County FastDating from any and all claims, suits, liabilities, or damages which such person may have in connection with his or her attendance and/or participation in any Ventura County FastDating event and the exploitation of photographs and/or audio/video recordings in any manner or format.

Ventura County FastDating will not use a participant's name or any other personally identifiable information, unless such participant has specifically granted his or her consent, in writing, for such use.

MEMBER DISPUTES

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other participants in Ventura County FastDating events. Ventura County FastDating reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other participants.

Privacy Statement

Ventura County FastDating respects the privacy of its Participants, Mailing List Subscribers and Web Site Users.

Use and Disclosure of Data:

Ventura County FastDating does not sell or rent your personally identifying information including your email address. We do not disclose personally identifying information to anyone that we are not authorized to do so. Ventura County FastDating reserves the right to release information on its Users only if compelled to do so by proper governmental or judicial authorities.

As necessary, Ventura County FastDating may contact you for reasons pertaining to your participation or intended participation in a Ventura County FastDating event. Ventura County FastDating keeps all information supplied by You confidential. However, by You providing to Ventura County FastDating Your email address and/or telephone number while at a Ventura County FastDating, You authorize Ventura County FastDating to release said information to other Users who You "match" with.

Credit Card Information:

Ventura County FastDating does not store your credit card account number but rather, uses PayServices for secure credit card and electronic check transaction processing over their secure server with 128-bit encryption.

Waiver of Liability

Disclaimer:

We do not pre-screen individuals attending any of the fastdating events we hold. In attending an events you agree to waive any and all liability against Ventura County FastDating or the venue where the event takes place.

Waiver of legal liability:

By signing up for a Ventura Fastdating event you are accepting of the Ventura County Fastdating Terms & Conditions, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms & conditions.

Ventura County FastDating strives to give single people a chance to meet one another in a safe and relaxed environment. We are not a matchmaking service and do not verify the personal details of those participating in our events. It is up to you to verify personal information to your own satisfaction and it is recommended that you do so. Please approach any contact with participants with the same caution you would undertake when meeting other people you do not know.

By signing up for a Ventura County FastDating event you agree that neither Ventura County FastDating nor its associates is liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from partaking in Ventura County FastDating services. This includes any damages, without limitation, arising out of communicating with other participants registered with Ventura County FastDating. Such damages include, without limitation, physical damages, bodily injury and or emotional distress and discomfort.

Ventura County FastDating events are held at venues over which Ventura County FastDating and its associates have no control. Therefore, in the event that you are injured or suffer damages of any kind at a Ventura County FastDating event, you agree to release Ventura County FastDating and its associates from any liability with respect thereof.

As a registered participant of a Ventura County FastDating event you understand that Ventura County FastDating offers an opportunity for meeting new people but that does not guarantee that any participant will successfully match with another participant.

By registering with Ventura County FastDating you provide your assurance that you are 18 years or older, and that you are single.

Ventura County FastDating is not liable for any damage, without limitation, resulting from use of the Ventura County FastDating website. If you have any technical difficulties when using the site, please contact matt@leetness.org

By completing the registration process for a Ventura FastDating event, User hereby agrees to pay the Event Fee charge shown on the payment page of the web site or the cancellation fee and further affirms that User will not "charge back" or otherwise dispute the Event Fee regardless of whether User receives any "matches" from the event or for any other reason. If there is a dispute regarding payment or the services provided Ventura FastDating, User agrees to expeditiously contact Ventura FastDating to resolve said dispute before escalating the dispute to User's credit card company.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your reservation, please call 805-630-4050. Before you do, please be familiar with our cancellation policy: Events are dependent on participant attendance. Therefore, we only offer refunds on cancellations, or can reschedule a reservation, made prior to five business days before the event you have made a reservation for. If you are canceling/rescheduling on or within five business days of the event or have booked a spot but do not attend the event, we cannot refund your credit card. There will be a $5 nonrefundable administration fee that will be applied to your credit card upon cancellation for each transaction. We apologize for the inconvenience.
